There are two reasons someone writes a book about their life’s work.
To be remembered
Or to be useful.
I only work with the second kind.
You’re the right fit if:
You’ve built something, and you keep thinking about what happens to what you’ve learned once you’re no longer running it.
You’ve said, “Someone should write this down” about your own experience (more than once)
You want the book to help someone avoid your mistakes or move faster than you did, not just to prove your life makes a good story.
You’re looking for a business book ghostwriter, or a memoir ghostwriter.
This probably isn’t for you if:
You want a book mainly to prove you “made it.”
You’re looking for a fast, generic, “as told to” book to hand out at a conference.

I’m a UK-based ghostwriter and narrative strategist who helps founders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs turn their experience into published non-fiction books - memoirs, business books, and thought leadership content - using a planning method called the Narrative Architecture Document.
-
Purpose-driven founders, impact-minded people/entrpreneurs, and mission-focused CEOs who see their story as something useful to others, not just something to be remembered. Clients range from first-time authors exploring an idea to those ready to commit to a full ghostwritten manuscript.

I’ve worked with award-winning social-impact founders, cross-cultural CEOs, doctors, health professionals, journalists, and ex-army personnel on numerous projects including full-scale memoirs, developmental edits, expert reviews, and book plans.
Hi, I’m Max Phillips, a Narrative Strategist and Non-Fiction Ghostwriter.
I work with purpose-driven founders, impact-minded people, and mission-focused CEOs who feel duty-bound to make a positive difference in their industry.
If you want to turn your life experience into a published non-fiction book, I will work with you to extract the true meaning behind your story.
This is your legacy, and I take that duty seriously.
You Built Something Extraordinary.
Now Let's Preserve It.
Every Great Non-Fiction Story Begins With a Blueprint
Before I write a single chapter, I build what I call the Narrative Architecture Document — a complete map of your story's premise, emotional arc, themes, key scenes, and chapter structure.
Most books are written first and structured later, if at all. When I ghostwrite a book, I start with the structure, which is why the writing that follows already knows exactly where it's going.
This isn't a brainstorm. It's a working document you'll refer back to throughout the entire project.
